Hi! We just inherited a 1961 also and I am trying to reupholster the seats! I cannot figure out how to get the back cushion off of the back to back seats. They are connected by a metal bar with screws but then between the seats is some plastic and they seem to be stuck together. Any advice you could give me would be great! Looks like you may have updated yours. I have been all over the internet. By the way your boat is beautiful and in terrific shape!
