I have a 65 Carlson Challenger that my Dad purchased new in 1965. It's in complete disrepair and I'm contemplating refurbishing it in honor of my Dad who is now 80 years old. I know it's completely financially foolish, I could have a comfortable boat for less. I was hoping you might be able to provide some advice? My Dad and I live live in California, the Boat currently is in North Carolina at my sisters home. She has asked if she can donate it to her boss who loves the boat.
