I imagine you know what you are looking at. This is a 2014 Yamaha 242 Limited S. No expense was spared in the upgrading of this boat. I am not going to tell you about the normal stuff as you can find that everywhere. I am going to tell you about the upgrades I made to the boat to make it better and more useable. This boat has Bluetooth and will connect to one Bluetooth device to stream music, also has usb and aux connections. I am the original owner and I have all the documents, manuals, keys etc original to the boat.
I have added 2-A8 Colours ocean led lights to the stern, you can see the colors in the pics. These change colors and look really cool and are controllable. I also added red ledspeaker trim rings. $1500 plus installation
Perfect Pass speed control system for dialing in the perfect speed for wakeboarding and other water sports. This is a requirement for watersports where speed control is crucial. These boats are notoriously difficult to get the speed right while trying to drive, hard to watch 2 things at once. This is a must have item. $1200 plus installation
Integrated 3 ballast system adding up to 1400lbs of weight to get that nice, deep wake for wakeboarding and wake surfing. Ballast Bags are easily removed if required for any reason with the installed quick disconnects. $2000 plus installation
SeaDek flooring throughout, super nice on the feet, much better than the stock carpeting. The factory carpet buttons were removed and sealed. $1000 plus installation
I added grab handles to the front anchor locker area as well as on both sides of the swim platform, so riders can safely enjoy the back of the boat. Also added assist springs to the anchor locker and the glove box. Glove box also has a light. I also added a collapsible galvanized box anchor, the best anchor available, with 75' of rope -$300
battery relocation to the back side to give tons more space. 2 -Diehard Platinum batteries size 31M, that is larger than what theydealer sells you and arguably one of the best batteries available. $300 each. I added a magnum energy battery charger and power invertor, 1000 watts. This keeps the batteries charged when out of the water or even on the water and allows you to power electronics on the boat, like a coffee maker on those island sleepover trips. Also has a remote screen so you can check the charge and status and turn the invertor on and off. $1100 plus installation
There are likely many more upgrades that don't even come to mind at the moment. She has a keelguard $150 as well as a permanentanchor light $200. This eliminates the need for the pole anchor light. Locking clean out plugs $100 and thrust vector XL $400 for better steering control in low speed
I have the original shipping cover and a mooring/towing cover $800. I keep her clean, after every outing. Minor wear and tear.Just got her 100 hr service and has about 115hrs.
All accessories are included -4 brand newlife jackets in the package, not crappy orange neckwarmers but universal jackets you can actually use, 4 hardly used life jackets $100 the same as the new ones, 2 wakeboard racks $400, all required items to be legal on the water, ropes and bumpers $100, tube and rope $100.
She has the YES warranty until February 24, 2019 - almost 3 years remaining on the warranty. Clear title in hand
Everything works as it should and there are no known issues or problems. She is a great boat and I am only looking to upgrade. She also includes the factory Galvanized trailer, with a new spare and I got a cover for the spare.
The upgrades alone are more than $10,000 if you had them done. The boat is comparable or better than the newest models that Yamaha has released and significantly cheaper to obtain than the new models.
If you have questions, let me know. I am very familiar with the boat as I have performed all of the upgrades myself.
