1990 TROJAN / BERTRAM BOAT NO RESERVE

My friend Gordon bought this boat new in 1990. My buddy Gary bought it from him. I bought it from Gary on April 16, 2001, and have kept it my boat lift ever since. Im 68, just retired, and going to Florida. And now, this boat needs an owner younger than me.

The port motor doesnt run. The starboard motor starts and runs fine. Every other aspect of boat is OK. Boat needs cosmetics. For this auction if you bid,consider the port motor needs to be completely overhauled or replaced.

Stamped manufacture label plate says BERTRAM-TROJAN, Inc. But I consider this boat a Trojan. I believe Bertram obtained the Trojan company early 90s, but I dont know; I think Bertram wanted the rights to the Delta Conic hull design (trojanboat.com/delta-conic-hull-design).

The Delta Conic hull on this boat is bullet-proof, solid glass, no wood.Vessel is Coast Guard Documented. Displacement is 11,250 lbs. 33 long, 13 beam, 2 draft. Twin 454 Crusader V-8 engines.20K cruise, 28K maximum.

Theres a forward queen size stateroom, a galley, a head and a shower. Shore power connections. Battery charger. Hynautic pressurized steering. Self inflating life raft, never deployed, which I am sure has an expired certification. Engine room Halon automatic fire control system. New top canvas. Would make a nice live aboard.

It is not safe to operate it with only one motor running;Maneuvering at slow speed is practically impossible. You will have to get Seatow or somebody with a boat to assist you moving it to wherever you are going. You are welcome to come inspect the vessel. I can assist you with your move, but dont bid on this auction without a plan of your own to transport the vessel to wherever you are taking it.I will soon list this boat locally for sale and reserve the right to end this classifieds board ad if it sells locally. I paid a ton for this boat in 2001. It will take some work to bring it back , but you know my price is a gift.
