If you know boats, you know Thompson had a great reputation for making great boats. This 28 foot boat is listed at $51k new. We have spent time and good money working on it, but now we're moving and need to sell it. This vessel has (2) twin 4-cylinder 3.0 liter OMC engines with no hours. One engine was rebuilt last year (see attached receipt). New fuel pump on port engines, as well as new battery, starter, and trailer beams. Tandom axle trailer with good tires. Upholstery in excellent/non-marred condition (just needs some cleaning). New hitch coupler, new plug wires, compass, fish-finder, ship-to-shore radio, teak wood doors and built-in rod holders, teak trim, dive platform, large cutty cabin with lots of storage, and much more.Brought it here to FL last year from Maine. A Florida mechanic looked it over last month and provided the above assessment (see "Seller Notes"). Said it needed "about $1000 in labor AND parts to get it running."
