Description: 

1986 THOMPSON 24 Cuddy Cabin with Trailer. This is a relist w/modifications. Buyer never saw boat and didn't pay deposit.

New motor professionally installed in Nov of 2005 at a cost of $2,351 (I have lost the receipts).Also purchased 2 new seats for the main cabin. The boat has an AC and hot water heater as well as a full kitchen with stove, sink and fridge. There is a shower on board as well as a queen size bed/storage area. It has a very long L shaped couch and a very solidly mounted table also a generous storage area in the bow as well as many storage compartments. The boat also has a windlass ($900 option) to automatically raise or lower your anchor. This boat features duel stainless steel fuel tanks (one has been removed because of small hole). There is a stainless drinking water tank which holds about 50 Gal. There are 5 ceiling lights throughout the interior each of which has 4 bulbs 2 for AC and 2 for DC.

Work needed:

Canvas enough to almost enclose the entire cabin, but probably not usable. Has been off the boat since 2011.

The boat has a Teak doors and trims which need to be replaced.

replace upper and lower gear case housing seal kit.

Need interior cushions reupholstered.

Carpet in cabin, if wanted.

The boat is available for inspections by appointment. Located in Blairsville, Ga.

11/30/14 UPDATE: Discussion today with mechanic. He has installed a new electrical harness. Needs water pump as well as the upper and lower kits. Not sure all electrical works. Needs new refrig. as motor to the refrig. had gotten wet . I can discuss water pump or other things with mechanic and give you preferred pricing for any other fix its. If further clarification needed, please ask me. I can arrange for you to view the boat and also talk to my mechanic.
