1981 20' Sutphen Super Pacer Boat with Mercury 225HP OutboardDon't see many of these around now a days. The Sutphen is in overall good shape and very solid for its age. The prior owner had a new floor put in the boat 5 years ago. At that time they checked the stringersand fueltank, both looked fine. Prior owner also had the sides of the boat painted red with Imron. The top side of the boat is original red/white gel and is faded. The front deck is very solid and was never drilled for thefactory lifting eye where these boats had problems leaking and rotting out the decks. Interior might beoriginal also I'm not sure but it is due to be replaced (Back seat in worse shape then two buckets). Transom is strong with no stress cracks in thesplash well corners etc. Carpet is in good shape. Boat has been bottom painted but never left in the water for any extended amount of time. Boat has a set of o/b gauges in the center along with a stereo set up on the passenger side. The boat is rigged with a 2.4 225HP Mercury outboard which I was told has been rebuilt with around 30 hrs on it. Has good even compression across all 6 holes. This is a carbed motor with velocity stacks, Merc Racing 260 cowl, newer 3 piston trim clamp, 2.4 one piece adapter plate, bass drilled mid section, a nose coned lower unit with low water pick up, and a 26p big ear Mercury chopper prop. Boat is rigged with Hynautic helm, pressure tank, and front mount hynautic cylinder, italso has a mercury flush mount side shifter. The boat sits on a 2008 Load Rite single axle Bunk Trailer which is inexcellent condition and only has a couple hundred miles on it from previous owner. I bought the boat rigged for a mercury, put the motor on it, upgraded to this aluminum trailer, andhonestly have been out maybe 3 times in the boat. It could still use a little set up time. Currently the motor is mounted directly to the transom and raised one hole making the nose cone about flush with the bottom of the boat. I think the boat would run better with the motor dropped one hole and nose cone a inch or so below the pad making the prop bite a bit more. Also could mess around with props etc but I just haven't had the time. Boat has been winterized and is shrink wrappedcurrently. Great boat for an easyresto project or have fun with it as it sits. Buyer isresponsible for boat pick up or shipping. I have no problem meeting a shipping company somewhere local to help things along. Boat is sold with a MA Title, trailer is sold with a bill of sale. Once paid in full I don't mind storing the boat for a month or two until spring arrives if needed. Any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for your time
