I bought this one time restored boat last fall and redid a 1961 Merc 500

for it. Split the power head and resealed it and replaced the crank

case seals, rebuild fuel pumps, magneto gone thru, new water pump and

pressure tested gear case, and all engine sheet metal repainted. The

boat can be left as is with great patina or strip and refinish the

polyurethane. It is so so complete w/ all original hardware, complete

original Taylor Made 1957 cloth canvas (13 oz Army Duck Canvas) w/ camper top and side windows, original snap seat cushions,

flag, original Taylor Made windshield, etc. Just won't find another one like this in this excellent a

shape. I have searched all over the internet for like boats and info and

Makes me believe it is rather rare as a survivor. This boat was

advertised as sleeping four - one on front seat, one on air mattress on

floor, and 2 on each rear seat. All enclosed in a complete camper top

and room for a porta potty. I want it to go to a good home. Anyone
