THIS BOAT WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT on 02/09/2015. While the boat was being lifted out of the slip, the lift cable broke which allowed the aft end of the boat to fall back into the water and strike the main dock. The engines were submerged and the transom mold was damaged. The bow rail struck the roof of the slip bending the bow rail and damaging the remote spotlight.
The boat was pumped out and towed to a local marina where the engines were purged of water and started. The engines ran well according to the technician who performed the engine service.
The 120v gasoline house generator had no signs of submersion damage. It was started, ran properly and generated 120v.
There is fiberglass damage to the area where the transom mold is attached to the deck and on the combing in the cockpit as shown in the photos. There is also a gouge in the fiberglass of the starboard topsides where it was struck by the broken lift cable. The hull bottom appears to be undamaged.
There may be other damages that are not readily visible.
The helm, instruments, remote controls, etc. were not submerged and appear to be without damage.
The main and aft cabins were not involved.
The boat was in very good condition prior to this accident with bright shiny gelcoat and a very clean cockpit, cabin interior, upholstery and carpeting.
