2001 Sea Ray 290 Bow-rider. Original owner, I purchased form the dealer in December of 2002. The Sea Ray 290 Bow Rider is one big and awesomebow rider. Abaft the helmsman's seat, the refreshment center has a wet-bar with sink, Ice storage, faucet, trash receptacle, duel powered refrigerator and large storage cabinet with bottle rack. My friends call it thedance floor on the water, it's got 6 speaker with a sub woofer. With a wide nine-foot, eight-inch wave-calming beam, this boat will travel smoothly and comfortably. Through the walk-through transom door, the swim platform has a concealed storage bin and a concealed stainless steel three-step ladder with integral grab handle. There is also a fresh water shower hose on the swim platform, fender storage and an integral ski tow eye are also included. The luxurious bow loungers have storage below and there's a built-in ice chest for extra ice storage too. Filler cushions turn the bow area or the aft cockpit area into a sun-pad. To port, an enclosed, lockable head compartment with Vacu-Flush head and sink with pullout sprayer makes the hours on the water much more enjoyable. Alpha III Duo-Prop Outdrive. Only 450 Hours on the engine and boat. No Trailer. 130 Gal Gas Tank. 30 Gal of Fresh water. 30 Gal grey water storage too. Massive amounts of storage also in front of helm and under main floor.
Carpet was replaced 4 years ago, with a high grade marine carpet, better than what came with the boat. Canvas T tops and bow coverare 2 years old. I change all motor and outdrive fluids at the end of each season and Ireplaced the "risers" 5 years ago on recommendation from a boat motor head guy I know. Batteries are 4 years old. I replaced the windlass [automatic anchor] 4 years ago. It has a full canvas and plastic-glass camper top as well as a canvas mooring cover.
This boat runs and looks great. I have been boating all my life and occasionally I like to take a few years off, this is one of those times again. I know I am letting it go cheap, but I just want it gone because I have three trips planed this summer and I want it off my plate.
I just had it sold on E Bay Sunday 4/5/15 for $19,116. But the buyer did not come through with the deposit.....I am hopping for more this time.
Thanks
Al
