Sea Ray 260cc

Great older boat in very good to excellent condition. I still like the lines on this boat.Not used much in the last few years but a lot of fun on larger lakes. This is a 1989 SeaRay 260CC with the twin 4.3L V-6 engines and small but comfortable cuddy. No facilities in the cuddy but a V berth and couple of seats. The cockpit interior was redone 5 years ago and the boat has not been used since. The cuddy interior is original. The boat was in covered storage for the last few years. It was fully winterized and tuned up prior. A light buffing of the hull will make it shine again. All decals and striping were removed and it looks better to me. Decals can be added by the new owner if desired.The boat holds 90+ gallons of fuel and gets pretty fuel economy for a bigger boat. The twin V-6's do well for both speed and handling. They have less than 300 hours on them and the drivers side has even less than that as is was replaced before I bought the boat. There is a custom mooring cover and twin Bimini tops that zip together to keep the sun off. The mooring cover needs some of the small Velcro replaced but it does impede the function.The trailer is a little rough looking due to its life before I got it traveling the gravel roads of AZ or NM but it is steel and strong. The tires are newer and the only mileage on them is when the boat was hauled from TX to MT. I replaced the lights and the surge brake works great. No worrying about a bad connection for the electric brakes to work. This trailer loaded stops real well when necessary but it is 6000 lb load. It is a heavy boat for a half ton but my 3/4 pulled it easy and stopped within reason.I had custom dash panels made to replace the originals since they faded with age. All new gauges were installed in the dash panel but the panel has not been installed in the boat I have the other replacement panels and will include them when I find them again.Do your research on this boat model BEFORE asking questions. I will answer questions to the best of my knowledge.You can buy a new boat and have it worth less than you owe as soon as you pull off the lot or you buy this great older boat with cash, put few hundred in it at a dealer and have a lot more fun.
