Since I have owned the boat, it has always been serviced at Nielson Enterprises in Lake Villa IL, the Only Authorized SeeDoo Dealer in the Area. (Each year prior to starting the season it received a summarization service, and at the end of each season it received a winterization service) Although not required, I always have put Super Unleaded Gas in it to make sure to keep the Superchargers in this boat purring. The boat has always been stored indoors for the Winter, and as of today is still indoors in winter storage. If you have never been on a Jetboat, the best way to describe it at full speed is a rollercoaster on water. The boat will turn on a dime, and handles like a sports car on water. I have gotten the boat to a top speed of 70mph (according to the speedometer that was buried (the water was glass, so under most circumstances expect 55-60mph as a top speed). With 430 HP option, this is one of the faster Jetboats ever produced. Since I have owned the boat I have mostly taken it in the Chain O' Lakes here in Illinois, but on occasion also taken it on the Chicago River and to Lake Geneva in WI.If this is going to be your first boat, you will find that in comparison cost of maintenance to be low and fun to be extremely high!
