For Sale is our 1993 Scott Robson 44 Power catamaran .These catamarans were built and imported from New Zealand where they still have an avid following . There are not may of these on the market and I only know of 1 currently that is comparable and is for sale for approx. $339,000 AU dollars .We purchased her in 2011 needing to be repowered at the time she was complete with 6 cylinder Cummins turbo diesels , long story short engines were removed, we had an issue with the mechanic who unfortunately removed them and disappeared , so now there are no engines and they were never reinstalled , we have had the boat ever since , we did remove the outdrives which are Bravo 2 diesel drives .Over the years the back teak deck has not done well and definitely needs replacement , the stringers are in good shape but the teak and ply under it has not done so well , Plan on removing the rear deck and glassing over it again , I personally would not bother replacing the teak deck at all but that is me .There is a swim platform that is integrated into the hull which I was considering removing if I was to put outboards on in place of the original diesels .The fiberglass hull is in good shape as is the coach house / super structure although she has been in the water for 3 years and definitely needs to get hauled or at a minimum have a diver come and clean off the crud .This is a project, it has 4 cabins 2 singles aft and 2 doubles forward , One head/ bathroom forward which will need a new toilet / head installed , there is a second head/ toilet and shower on the outside of the boat but again you need to replace the head .There is a large salon area with galley/ kitchen up, there is around 7ft headroom in the main salon living area , there are new cushions for the cabins still in plastic .There are AC units on the boat but they have not run in years so in my opinion all the systems are going to need to be gone through .I have the boat docked at a private residence close to Clearwater, you will get ample time 30 days to move the boat to a new location, we will work with the new buyer . There is a marina around 1 mile away that can haul the boat clean the hull and load it on a low boy if needed .I am currently finishing a contract in Maryland so will have to fly down to meet you, last time I had my time wasted by a buyer whom I met he gave me a deposit wanted me to get the boat registration current as I have a clear MD title , I flew back to MD planned to meet in 3 weeks later, flew a second time with all the necessary documents in hand and then the excuses started coming and long story short I am relisting the boat so if you are interested please plan on following through .Yes I say it again this is a project but a very worthwhile one , I did investigate reconfiguring the transom and installing 2x300 hp outboards , if it does not sell I may pay the $12,000 and get it shipped up North and do that in the future ,I had found a retired shipwright who was willing to do the work but then Covid happened and I have my hands full with other projects myself so it will be on the back burner so to speak so selling it would be the easiest option for me .I currently still have a 58 Hatteras I am busy with and I just purchased a 53 Hatteras project so I am busy will be busy with that too .I may consider partial or full trades depends what it is and please do not be offended if I am not interested in what you have, I have traded in the past boats, cars, trucks, properties and it has worked out well provided everyone is realistic but cash is always preferred .I will be in Clearwater next week on Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of May to show the boat , I will not let anyone go to the house if I am not there to meet you , that was the requested by the home owner .To recap I do have a clear Maryland title with current registration in my name .Feel free to e-mail me with any questions , I don't like putting my number on here but if you want to talk send me a number or reach out and I will send you mine .On a quick side note everyone has there own opinion on how to fix the boat , how much it will cost what is the best way to do it , you may not agree with my ideas and that is fine I will respect yours and you can respect mine , if you you don't agree please feel free to scroll on by and look at all the other listings on classifieds boardThanks Matt
