Wherry Rowing Boat

Wherry rowing boat.The "wherry" was designed and built by me. She is 13' 6" long with a 60" beam and a wine glass stern complimenting her round bilges. Dry weight is approximately 160 lbs.The hull is cove and bead western red cedar, edge glued with West system epoxy, dyed with dark brown Aniline dye, sheathed inside and out in 6 oz. S-glass (aircraft grade) in West System epoxy, Honduran mahogany gunwales and seats, full length oak keel sheathed in epoxy with a brass bottom protector running full length, laminated oak stem, solid Honduran mahogany transom, painted inside Hatteras white and outside in clear two part linear urethane, bronze fittings and oarlocks, custom made 8' laminated cupped oars in ash, walnut and mahogany, blades sheathed in S-glass and epoxy. Removeable Philippine mahogany floor boards. Brass and oak pad on transom for up to 4hp outboard or electric. In as new condition. This hull has been stored covered in garage storage since launching. The trailer, pictured, is not included. It is ready for pickup in Lakewood, Colorado , and I will gladly help locate a suitable trailer, and find a professional shipping carrier.
