Dream boat project I have run out of time for and am moving on from. Had the boat 2 seasons in the water hauled twice for winter storage and she is now on the hard with nice shrink wrap cover we made to repair cabin top. Over the 2 years I have owned this boat I have had a blast! 30 overnight trips a few thousand gallons of fuel, new starters, alternators, rebuilt carbs, fuel pumps. These motors are old but simple to work on, lots of space in the engine room after removing the generator and parts are cheep. I started from the bottom up removing all the bottom paint and blisters (not many), the center keel, and behind trim tab brackets had some soft spots that I repaired with west system the right way, dropped the rudders to grind and polish then, pulled the props to fit them to shafts perfectly, 2 coats burier coat, 2 coats of $300 per gallon ablative bottom paint, put it all back together and she cruised like a dream! And fast! Rebuilt salon doors used polystyrene foam as core, had to pull the bridge to bring it down the road and left it off to repair cabin top. My plan was to repower with either twin Cummins or build a bracket for triple outboards. Ive removed lots of the gear like the head, fridge and furniture for access to engine room. I was about to pull the starboard motor to find an oil leak when my new boat came along...this is a solid old fiber glass boat. She runs, I bet I could have her doing 30knots if she were launched tomorrow! But Im done with it and its got to go to it next owner. Not counting any of my time I have 10k plus into this boat and its been worth every penny! Coast guard documented and ready to sign over to next owner. The boat is being sold in as is condition and must be hauled away within ten days of purchase.
