Rare 1962 Dorsett Seahawk Jet Boat

Dorsett Seahawk jet boat. 17' 7". Boat is in very good condition for it's age. Hull has been redone. Seats have been replaced(not original). V6 Buick (not original) / all newexhaustlines. No battery.Trailer is in very good condition. Tilt, tires and spare are like new, lights work. We inherited boat from my father in law, so we have never seen it run or in the water. All informationI have on it is second handfrom his friends or my own research, so boat is being sold as is because I can not guarantee or confirmany of the information. I was told the boat has no leaks and the motor runs, but was running hot (overheating). They determined it was running hot because when they replaced the water return lines, they cut out too many of the port holes on the gaskets. His friend believes it just needs new gaskets and they need to get cut out properly. I have the drawing showing the gaskets. The jet drive is original but rebuilt with parts from one just like it. I was told it works. The title says 1970, but is wrong. Through my own research, I have found it has to be a 1962 or 1963. I could not determine which year becauseit does not have the original motor. New owner will be responsible for changing year on title if so desired. This is a very rare boat. Book value on boat (BUCValu), without trailer is $5300-$6100.Trailer is probably worth$600-$700 alone.Local pick up only,Will not ship.
