True paddle wheel driven dinner cruise boat or sight seeing commercial boat rated for 112 passengers. Just surveyed at $85K as is and $1.4M replacement value. Survey provided on request. Was built in 1983 in Joliet, IL. Single turbo diesel Deutz engine driving a hydraulic system to the paddle wheel anda Cummins turbodiesel running an Onan genset. Over $50K spent in drydock in 2015. Coast Guard COI through 2017 (see attached). Was taken out of service in May of last year (2015) so I assume she will need tohave her annualinspection to go active again.
We serviced and started up the main engine and generator (both run perfectly), and tested the paddle wheel and the rudders. Everything runs strong and is operational. This boat was still fully operational in January of 2015 running corporate events and catered birthday parties in the log book. Other than this, it is a dramtaically discounted vessel that is being sold as-is, where is, with the benefit of already being in a fully commercial shipyard where we can offer all necessary services at a great price. This is a truly unique and valuable opportunity.
She needs mostly cosmetics and the interior needs a basic and complete remodel (carpet, some drywall, bathrooms are out dated, wood on bar needs varnished, etc.) First set of pictures were taken just a few days ago and the last few pictures are from events over the past few years (2012-2014). We have been through most of the mechanical systems and all the systems are intact and the main engine and generator were both just serviced and run strong. The main engine is externally mounted with a closed loop cooling system so she's very low maintenance and could not be easier to access.
Main salon layout is double entry doors with both amens and womans restrooms on each side, a large open dining area, and a bar in the rear with ice machine, soda system, etc. The entire center of the floor in front of the bar is a finished basement with hatch that can hold all daily supplies, stores, etc. Top deck is all open with direct access to the pilot house.
This boat madegood moneyfor many years as a dinner cruise boat and event platform for corporate affairs, weddings, school field trips, etc. This is a fantastic business opportunity for cruising or remove the drive system and convert to permanently moored craft with no more need for Coast Guard certification. Tons of options... Located in Northeast Florida.
