Moomba Kanga

1998 Moomba KangaGreat boat. I have never had one mechanical problem with this boat. The Oil, belt, impeller and spark plugs changed seasonally or every 50 hours. This boat has a custom bimini top that velcro's one section in the middle, allowing the fly high pole to fit through it. So you can still have your top up and ski with your fly high pole. There is a sony cd player with two Bazooka 6x9 marine grade speakers. Lots of storage under the front and a removable back seat. Boat seats 8 people. Has an automatic bilge. There is about 615 hours on the V8 Indmar engine. The gas gauge doesn't work but you can see the tank level by simply removing the back seat panel. Oil pressure and engine temp gauges work. There is one screw that stripped out on top of the Holley carburetor breather/filter. It is temporarily wired down, but it does not effect engine performance in any way. Price includes custom Moomba trailer, with lights. One of the guide poles on the trailer has fallen off, but could easily be welded back on. This boat was never used at night, so I've never seen the navigation lights on. That could be a simple fuse or short somewhere. We bought this boat in Chiefland, FL two seasons ago. It was always maintained properly by the previous owner and myself. This boat has only been ran on fresh water lakes and rivers. With 3 kids now, we are in the market for a family sedan or van.
