Mercruiser Baja

Up for sale is a 1998 Baja 180 Islander with a Mercruiser 5.7 V8 and a Mercruiser alpha one stern drive. Asking $6,500 OBO . I purchased this boat back in January and have a baby on the way so I have to sell. I stripped and sandblasted the Eagle 20ft trailer. Painted with rhino lining, paint will last for years. Installed new brake line from nose to axle, all new brake line connections double swedged, New torsion tongue, new chains, new carpeted bunks with a new spair set as well, new carpeted fender inserts, new backing plates, new drums, new shoes, new tires and wheels. Trailer is like brand new. Everything is new on the trailer.

Boat was sitting for about 2 years on a boat lift sitting out of the water covered up when I purchased it. Boat has 225 original hours on it. It was winterized by the first owner. I am now the 2nd owner. I will also include a 700 Page bound manual for the stern drive. Boat has a few imperfections inside , such as a few dark spots on the carpet, Carpet was steam cleaned , all vinyl seats have been cleaned and protected with mothers vinyl protectant. Boat is beautiful for being 20 years old. This is a rare Baja since it has the big engine in it 5.7 liter V8 2 barrel carburetor. Carburetor was removed , cleaned and new gaskets installed. Boat does start and run, started it and flushed all the antifreeze out of the engine. Will make a great ski boat or tubing boat. Hate to sell but have a new baby on the way and cant afford to keep it. My loss is your gain. Sold as is with no warranties implied or expressed. Bring your truck or suv and pull it away. Trailer and boat is roadworthy. Boat will come with a purple snap on cover as shown in the picture along with a new spare set of carpeted bunks for the trailer. Just purchased tags for the boat trailer so is legal to tow just will need tags put in new owners name. Can use my tags to get the boat to its new home, then must either destroy tags or turn into the BMV. A $500 non refundable deposit must paid through PayPal within 48 hours of purchase.
