For sale is a freshwater Lyman 16' runabout I purchased last year from the original owner. Used only in the Finger Lakes and stored during its whole life in a boathouse. The boat is an excellent original condition. Includes original red and white vinyl seat cushions. The motor, which has electric start, has been restored but I have not tried to run it. The boat is configured (with starter, choke, running lights, etc.) exactly as it was when made. The trailer has been fully reconditioned, with new tires and bearings and lights. The inside varnish could use some very light sprucing up, but nothing major required such as wholesale stripping. Also, the windshield rubber trim (original) is getting a bit brittle and probably should be replaced.There is an aft locker door (with two anchors) that is not visible in the pictures.

Still for sale? Any leaking or rot below the waterline? Any wood repairs already below the waterline? My youth in a 1956 Lyman 18' at Boston Harbor, so I am quite serious and simple on the subject. Thank you for your attention to this inquiry.
