Lowe 215

Up for sale is a one family owned and used 1998 Lowe 215 pontoon boat. Length is 21.5 ft, it has 90 HP Johnson spl outboard motor with power trim/tilt & yacht club trailer (wheels outside of the pontoons for easy pulling). New battery this season (June 18). ALL accessories are going with boat including various life jackets, towable tube, tow ropes, table, spare tire, spare prop, 2 fire extinguishers, etc.This was purchased new by my uncle in 98 in Northern Illinois where he used it on a river June - August each summer for about 10 years, we've had it on Greers ferry lake in central Arkansas since about 2011. Just had it on the water a few Saturdays ago. Boat has been kept in covered slip while in water in Illinois or in enclosed storage building during the off season (Sept - May). Since being in Arkansas we have kept it in a covered car port and towed to the lake each time we used it.Great party barge for the family. Engine runs fine but will need a tune up. It tends to stall/die at idle in neutral after boat has been under way and comes to a stop. You have to throttle it up a bit to start it back up then put into gear to go. Once boat is moving the engine runs perfectly. We had the carbs rebuilt and fuel system completely gone through about 7-8 years ago, also had the prop shaft seals replaced about the same time frame. The boat has been kept under cover its entire life therefore the upholstery is in great condition. There are a couple of tears in the corner bench seat toward the bottom where the back and seat cushions meet, you can see the area in the posted pics. The only other wear is on the sun deck portion of the rear deck pads on the corners where it fell off one time and scuffed the two corners on the pavement, you should be able to see this also in the pics. Carpet and wood decking are in great condition. The rear entry ladder is missing the lower few steps but we have the additional side entry ladder that is perfect.We just had this boat in the water a few weeks ago but prior to that it had not been in since August of 2015. We really only used it once or twice a summer on average that is why we are selling it.
