Lowe 1448

You are bidding on a solid 1982 14' Lowe 1448 double wide Aluminum Jon Boat in good condition with a few scars but in good condition. It was painted gray by a commercial painter. The transom wood is Teak and works as is but probably needs to be replaced soon. Buyer can always add pressure treated 2"x 6" transom easily. Wired for navigation lights 48" wide at bottom of boat, 72" wide at top of gunwales. Very stable.Motor - Powered by a quiet 1997 Yamaha 15 HP four stroke, recoil start, tiller steer motor that starts right up and runs great. Throttle grip is faded some from sitting under a shed but it runs fine. 6 gallon gas tank - New carburetor was installed by Yamaha authorized service center in summer of 2016 and I have been running ethanol free gas in it ever sense. Flushed after every use. I also ran all the gas out of it after every use.Trailer - a steel 1978 EZ Loader that has been reconditioned with buddy bearings, relatively new trailer jack, relatively new tongue and spare tire. Tires are in good condition. Pulls great!Great flounder gigging boat. I would not gig around oyster beds with a fiberglass boat.
