1968-2021 Howard v-drivefor your consideration is my 1968 Howard v-drive drag/ski boatThis boat is brand new except the hull and hardware is original. The boat has every part every nut and bolt is new it has taken me 1 1/2 years to rebuild this boat with its ford FE 390 big block engine being completely rebuilt to be a high performance runner with its steel internals and high compression pistons,aluminum intake and demon carburator makes this engine have performance and security knowing that its going to start and run every time you take it out. I have countless hours and money bringing this boat to where it is today i have more than $35,000.00 into the build of this amazing flat bottom v-drive boat. It has a transmission as well which is very rare for a boat of this type because they usually came with the v drive in and out box only but this one was orig equip with the marine velvet transmission for skiing and ease of drive since you have drive and reverse and neutral a real plus let me tell you. the hull had an orig hobbs that had only 128 hours on it to begin with. The hull is amazing with no stress cracks or any imperfections of any kind. all of the running hardware is all orig to the boat i just had it re-chromed and buffed to new condition. To appreciate this boat you need to see it pictures cant show you the bright and shinny perfection of this boat it is a real show winner and it is incredibly fast. much to fast for my needs. I did not realize how fast these boats were since this is the first one that i have driven.
