I am the original owner of this 1974 Formula F200, 20 ft. family boat. The original engine was the Mercruiser 888 with the Mercruiser outdrive. The outdrive is original with a stainless steel 19" propeller. It has a new water pump. The hull is in excellent condition with minor blemishes due to 40 years of use. The 35 gallonaluminum fuel tank is new with new hoses and wiring. The fuel compartment was re-fiberglassed and filled with two-part flotation foam. The compartment was sealed with fiberglass cloth. The marine carpet is new. The gauges are new. Theoriginal mooring cleats have been replaced with stainless steel units. The Taco rub rail is new. There are two radios- Raytheon VHF and the Jensen MCD9424RC AM/FM/CD/NOAA (5 weather bands) marine receiverw/4 speakers. The black Richey F50 compass is new. The electric 12" Lenco trim tabsare new with the control mounted on the dash. The deep-cycle battery is new and is controlled by the battery shut-off switch mounted in a secure location. The depth indicator is mounted inside the hull with the gauge dash-mounted. The motor mounts are new, the bilge (engine compartment) has been re-conditioned and painted with gray bilge paint. The interior needs to be completed asthe wood has been replaced but not upholstered. The convertible top needs to be replaced.
The Ford engine is a CNC-machined 302block. Ithas 4-bolt mains and is bored .030". It is a 331 stroker engine with aSCAT crank and ARP main bolts, Scat I-beam rods w/ARP bolts, hypereutetic pistons with a 9 to1 compression ratio. The cam is a CompCam 268H and lifter kit. The pushrods are heat-treated high performance. The rocker arms are the non-adjustable roller-rocker style, and a new HP CompCam roller timing chain.It has a new oilpan w/high volume oil pump, a new Prestolight electronicdistributor w/a Blaster 3 High Vibration coil. The starter is a new high-torque starter, The intake manifold is the aluminum Offenhauser medium-rise, The fuel system is the Holley 4-bbl. marine carburetor. Thevalve covers are Ford polished aluminum. The new heads are Ford GT40P heads w/ARP head bolts. The GLM 4" center-rise exhaust manifolds are, also, new. This engine is complete but has not been started.
The trailer is the Shoreline galvanized steel , 2-axle,roll-off trailer. The brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes and include the back-up cut-off switch. The wheels are 14" galvanized spoke with four new 205/75D14 tires and a spare tire mounted on thetrailer front. The wiring has been replaced and the lights have been upgraded to LED. The trailer vehicle cord is the expandable-wire style with the 5-contact connector. There is a bow safety chain and the eyebolts installed for the hull restraining strap (not included).
