This auction is for a 1998 Crest II 22 foot Pontoon Boat and Zieman Pontoon Boat Trailer. The boat has a 90 HP Mercury outboard 3 cylinder 2 stroke that runs good. This year I put gas in the gas tank, primed the fuel system and the engine fired right up after sitting all winter. Both boat and trailer are in good condition and are lots of fun to use. We are the second owner of this boat and trailer and have owned it since 2006. We used this boat once or twice a year for the past 10 years.Pro's: Fun boat easy to use. Drives nice on the water. Trailer tows well, not a small tire narrow pontoon trailer that aren't as stable as the wide trailers are. We reupholstered the boat completely about 3 or 4 years ago including all seats and carpet. There is a little damage from birds pecking at the upholstery that can be seen in a couple of the photos. The boat comes with about 15 life vests, floating pads, rubber bumpers, anchor, New Yellow top Optima gel cell battery, plus many more boat items. The rear of the boat has a enclosed changing room. I also have 2 inflatables that I am including in the sale. There is an aluminum ladder that hooks on the side or front to get back in from the water. It has an AM/FM Cassette radio. It has a shade cover that goes over the front and a Bimini top over the rear section (Bimini needs help, see con's). The front shade is not put on correctly in the pictures. I simply installed it so you can see where it goes, when installed properly it is more even and looks better. All the seats can be made into beds if you want to sleep on the water or just lay out and tan. We only used it like that a couple times and did not recover those parts when we reupholstered the boat so you can see in the pictures that those are a different color than the rest of the boat.Con's: The Bimini top was well worn when we bought the boat 10 years ago and we have been patching it for 10 years. It really need to be replaced (Frame and Fabric). With that said we made it work the last time we took it out but it was Mickey Mouse. Ignition switch at drivers seat is loose. When the boat was reupholstered they lost the nut holding the ignition in place and I have never found another one. The ignition works just fine you just have to hold it from spinning when you start the boat. The boat has 2 gas tanks. The left tank works fine but the center gas tank has a problem pulling fuel. I believe it is a simple stuck check valve or something in the line. It has 2 tanks so weused the left tank all the time and didn't worry about it. There are probably a couple of other things that I'mnot remembering right nowbut these are the biggest problems. It is anearly 20 year old boat so it has somewear and tear. I know there is one small bubble in the wood on the floor, paint needs love, railings have been repaired in a couple of spots but nothing major. Buy It Now: Since everyone always asks I will give a buy it now of $8500. This is a no reserve auction and I fully plan on selling itto the high bidder so please bid to own this boat. The only reason I will end this auction is if someone accepts the Buy it Now price or some problemcomes to my attention that requires me to end it. This boat is not advertised anywhere elseit is only here on classifieds board and should go to the highest bidder. I truly believe that is the way classifieds board works best. But please remember that is true both ways. If you bid you are entering into a legal contract to purchase the boat. If you bid and do not pay I will report you to classifieds board as a non-paying buyer. I do request a $200.00 non-refundable deposit through Paypal.Title: I have a clear California title in hand, in my name for the Boat. The trailer has an electronic title registered in my name and will simply get a bill of sale for transfer at DMV. The boat sticker on the side of the boat is 2015 but I am 99% sure we paid the 2016 tags. We haven't taken it out this year so I will have to find the sticker. This is a great family boat and I think there are many years of enjoyment left in it. Our family has enjoyed it a lot over the years and now it is time for another family to start their memories. Be prepared to see some tears from my family when the boat is picked up but it's time to get toys that they would use more frequently and they understand that. Questions and Viewing: Please ask all questions before you bid and I welcome and encourage that you come out and inspect the boat before you bid. I will answer every question as honestly as I possibly can. I want who ever buys this boat to be 100% happy as we have been. That means no surprises and I believe that I have written an ad that has covered it as much as possible. I know this is a long ad but I wanted to cover as much information as possible.
