This was a good freind of mine's boat.was a 16' 280 from Smiths falls Ont (Canada) E-98. Bought fron Lee Cullen in the late 70;s. He raced it with a 265 chevy ( a good one).l did lots of work on it. built a couple of 265"s but they wouldn't stay together. ln the winter of 82/83 he completely tore it all apart. When l saw it ,l almost shit!! Just 2 stringers & one frame ( the one at back of sponsons). He wanted to make it longer and lots wider at the back. All Lloyds are only about a foot wide above the prop. l draw up (on graph paper) to scale an 18' boat with l think about a 40" bottom at the back.We had a tiff over me getting married and didn't speak for many years Last time l seen it (in Fishers Landing NY) it was red...If you look inside the tailfin section you should be able to see where it was cut and lenghtened. Do you still have it for sale???
