I have seen your boat before on other listings. What is its present status?
I have the 1953 Standard Whirlwind model with a 48" covered deck. It also has a factory custom installed split cowl
with remote steering and controls at the second seat position. However, I use it almost exclusively for fishing. It is a
14footer but with the front deck and split cowl I only have 7ft useable open space.
I run Johnson. 3hp, 7.5hp 10hp and 18hp motors on it. It came with a johnson 35hp which I think is just too much
weight and power.
