Hello, I am looking for a nice sail bag that could fit a box that measures about 8or 9 inches high, and about 6 x 4.
Please let me know what these bags are made of , and if there are any options such as flat bottom about 7 x5.
My mother 89 yesterday birthday and I have given up on finding a cremation burial urn for my Dad for next week Tuesday July 17, she says all that stuff out there is too pretentious for a guy like my Papa and she wishes 100% to go back to the original plan for a really nice plain sail bag since Dad was happiest in all his genius long life ....when he was sailing.
I put a call in to a sailmaker near us in Detroit who may have already gotten going on a sail boat someplace arriving for the Mackinac Race this Saturday, and also to the Sarnia Ontario Yacht Club and would rather cross the bridge to Ontario today anywhere as far as London Ontario to get a sail bag rather than drive the city madhouse driving Detroit area. But now I really really searched and found you so please tell me if you have a sailbag that would fit my beloved Dad's cremation box for burial this coming Tuesday July 17. The caretaker at the ancient family stomping grounds castle, MEANWHILE, over in Hookhead Ireland says he and his brother are sending our family crest on a piece of wood from a tree that grew on the old castle part like 1400's of the somewhat newer manor house. Loftus Hall. I was amazed when they said this. AMAZED.....so I dont know how it is they think they can get it here in time but we will see. Kind thought.
Yeah, ok well well please tell me about your sail bags, particularly if a square bottom to fit the box with the usual rope closure is possible
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Joan
