Hi dear Nicro Team,
May be you cant help.
I have bought a old but never used before, Solar Vent which is called Day and Night from Nicro Marine.
I found on the Box the Type Number NF 20504S. In the Box I found also a second Fan blade for switching the direction of the air flow but no any switch to stop or destinate the Motor direction. I wonder about that! So I ask me what kind of Motor is this? Because I plan to add a little Circuit (or just a switch) for switching the Rotationdirektion and also giving the possibility for switching off the Ventilation. But before I am starting my work I have to make clear with a simpel question:
Is this a simpel Motor able to change its direction just by changing the + and - cables from the Motor supply??? Or is it a special electronic Motor for example with Transistor's in, which could be damaged by changing the polarity ?
By the Way. It looks for me so, that this device is not produced anymore. When was the production stopped How old could this device be.
Many Thanks and best regards from Germany
