I also have a 1988 Cobalt 23BR. I am need of just a few small and large parts. Since mechanically and cosmetically this boat needs much work, would you be interested in parting out the boat? I need the entire windshield, "Appears mine had been replaced before my purchase". It works fine but does not allow the fitting of my Bimini top and full enclosure. I also need to replace my trim gauge. Also some Cobaly badging I need to find in better shape than mine.
You might make more money by parting it out. For instance i would pay accordingly for good used parts and you can always sell the lower unit which often brings over $2k. I live up the road in Lansing KS. Please let me know if you would be interested in talking further.
