Guess Ebay did not go as well as it could have- Scott here from Hendersonville-we talked Friday night. Hope all is well. Funny, It is a sellers market in housing but seems to be a buyers market in cruisers. On Old Hickory Lake it is extremely difficult to even find a Marina that has slips available, at least one that is not a long distance away. I called a few Marinas and they asked what size boat and I replied what size slip is coming up.
The size of horse or size of carriage scenario. Maybe that is why cruisers don't seem to sell as fast or for as much, No slips available. Towing to a ramp is a real pain! That and the fact that Marinas charge so dam much for fuel-My Marina will not allow me to bring my own fuel even if I use their fuel dock to fill it up. At $4.17 a gallon. Not even a discount as a tenant. I have been looking at boats for a few months-auctions, Ebay, Craigslist, iboats...........Everyone buyer wants a great deal and every seller does not want to get screwed, If I wait till winter I imagine I will find better deals but the sun is still shining now. Your Top bid was $5700 well below your reserve. Should you desire I will offer $6700, no insult intended-just my budget for a boat. Sure it is worth more and if I could afford more perhaps I could offer more, So if you try craigslist or ebay again and it does not work for you or desire not keep paying slip fees if don't use it much-you got my contact info. I wish you the best-Thanks again Scott Hall.
