This is a great classic boat with beautiful lines. The boat is solid and completely water ready. Mechanically - the boat is set up with a Mercruiser 3.0L "iron duke" paired to an alpha 1 drive. Motor and outdrive are in great condition and all function without any issues. The electrical needs to be updated. Electrical is functional but needs to be redone(I have 2 new rolls of ss wire to go with the boat as I planned on rewiring it this year). Hull is solid with no leaks. Floors were replaced less than 3 years ago and new gelcoat applied with nonskid additive. power steering and shift / throttle cable all functions normally.

This 1970 Cobia is a classic beauty. I've had this boat for 9 years now and have had a lot of fun fishing out of her as well as taking my family out for day trips to the barrier islands as well as up and down the rivers. The boathas asuper dry ride and handles moderate chop well. The 3.0l I/O mercruiser with the alpha 1 drive all functions without issues. The power steering systemmakes this an easy boat to drive. The electrical system functions but is due for an update(I have 2 rolls of ss wire that will go with the boat). The hull is solid with no leaks. Floors are solid and were replaced about 3 years ago. The boat sits on a road ready tandem axle trailer(the tires show some age and I recommend replacing them). The only reason I'm selling her is that I recently purchased a center console to do more offshore fishing and get my oldest son more into fishing with me. I have a clean FL title in hand and ready for a new owner. Keep in mind this is not a perfect boat but sea worthy and road worthy.
