1958/59 Chris-Craft Sea Skiff - $2500 (Vonore TN)
condition:goodsize / dimensions:26'
1958/9 Chris Craft, twenty six foot classic"We purchased the boat in 1981 or 1982. The boat spent most of its life on the Great South Bay, on Long Island, salt water. No trailer, during the winters in NY it was professionally pulled and stored in our yard. About 10 years ago my folks moved to the Knoxville area, and had the boat professionally moved down from New York. It stays in the water all year in Tennessee. The dock has a roof, and it's protected fairly well from elements. It sits a little lower in fresh water, but not much. Occasionally we add salt to the bilge, to keep it preserved. For a wood boat she is has always been very dry, but there is always some water in the bilge. There are pumps located strategically in bow, stern, and mid-ship. Hurricane Gloria claimed her factory hard top in 1985. Professionally re-powered in early 1990's with a Power Pac 350 from Marine Power Inc. The boat was never mint. It was used very often -- daily -- and taken care of well, but its looks were never important. She is an old lady, that gets the job done, that has never had Botox, face lift, or make-up."Asking $2500.Contact Michael (son of Bob and Shan) email him at email

Questions
Is this still available? If so, a few questions...
- trailer? (Or one I could use/buy to move it)
- What transmission does she have?
- Thruster in aft?
- Last time ran? Winterized?
- Were the boards covering the ribs original for Sea Skiffs? Most I have seen have the ribs showing.
Thx! When can I take a look...I live near Indy.
Warm regards...Jeff
