Originally sold in Michigan. Solid boat inside and out. 283 V-8 starts smoothly and idles beautifully. My father has owned this boat for many years. Enjoying cruising the waters of Kentuckys Lake Barkley in grand style. Previously he had rebuilt and shown 3 classic Automobiles which all won the coveted AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Senior Grand Nationals for (not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination). His meticulous attention to details is what sets apart his work.He told me: Its easier to restore a fine automobile if you start with a fine automobile. And that extended to this craft as its to the best of our knowledge completely maintained original shape. With one exception. My father wanted more power so he replaced the original 6 cylinder Hercules Motor for a period correct Chris-Craft 283 V-8.
