I have never in my life had more tire wasters, email me very ignorant comments, as if we were trying to be deceitful with our description when we actually advise our customers to inspect this vehicle prior to bidding. We had made an error and the boat was listed as a 19 foot boat but it happens to be a 17 foot boat. We are not experts in Chris Crafts, we offer boats and all types of vehicles at substantial savings. Our end users are collectors and re-builders. Now if you have nothing good to say do not bother we will report you to, E Bay, either get ready to cut a check or go on your merry way. This boat is for serious buyers only who have money, save your offers of $1,000 dollars and the cute ones that send offers of $1.00, I find it amusing how bored some people can be. Lets not waste anyone's time.
Sun Kingis perhaps the rarest & most unique Chris Craft in existence! In the nine years preceding Pearl Harbor, Chris Craft built just 62 of the 17 Triple Cockpit Runabouts. Over those production years, the 17 Custom got more expensive, more luxurious and what became known as the barrel back stern became more pronounced.
Truly aone-of-a-kind and rare Chris-Craft runabout and the only remaining example of just two ever produced. The fastest and largest model in the highly-collectible Chris-Craft Barrell Back series of runabouts Rare Chris-Craft 6cyl-90 HP;only a few of these engines exist today Advertised speed was 35 50 MPH Top-of-the-line in 1940, and the most expensive at $6,290 Many top awards 15 hrs. since comprehensive and lengthy restoration in 2007 All new planking (bottom, sides & deck) Complete and extensive engine rebuild, with concealed moderncarburetors, and ignition systems for ease of operation New tanleather upholstery in the original color and style, using leather reproduced by the original supplier Birdseye maple dash, silveron blackinstruments twin IvaLite spotlights and siren!

One of the most desirable, collectible, and attractive models ever produced by Chris-Craft.We spent some time poking around the inside and found most of the structure in excellent (and clean) condition. Also a very strait and true boat, a great find. That being said, we will begin by documenting everything carefully with photos, and by taking a video of any repairs that need to be made.
All the chrome and gauges have been done. Some of the best mahogany Ive
seen in awhile also came
with the boat, some pieces four inches thick and twenty inches wide. Try
finding that now days. The
Fireball power is already done and was restored to original specs. A new
custom tandem trailer is
already on order as well. This is not along term project and we are doubtful
you can get a comparable
boat for this price as they are selling for well over $99,000 dollars and some
of the most expensive up
to $159,000. This is a diamond in the ruff a money maker, do not over pay on
other boats when you can
purchase this one for penny's on the dollar. This is the boat of the summer a
collectible, and a
timeless piece you can pass on to your children. Its elegance and presence
are unsurpassed as this
was one of the finest boats built in its time.
