Chris Craft 210 Bow Rider

2001 Chris Craft 210 Bow Rider. This is a 21' powerboat with a Volvo Penta 5.0 SX inboard/outboard set up. Comes with a shorelander dual axle trailer (swing tongue), Bimini top, snap covers, and winter storage cover. The engine was replaced last year due to mechanical failure. The replacement engine has 97 hours on it. Originally the engine was TBI, the new engine is carbureted and has a new Holley carb on it. We had a lot of problems with the TBI set up and have zero issues with the current set up. The work was done by a reputable shop, and I do have all the documentation for it. We have had this boat 3 years or so and have replaced many parts on it. Both bellows boots, driveshaft assembly, propeller, bilge pump, interior lighting and bow light, engine, blower hose, both batteries (dual switch), kicker speakers were installed, and I'm sure there are some things I'm forgetting. We had the boat in the water only once last year to test it out towards the end of the season. Everything worked as it should. As the boat is over 20 years old it is certainly not perfect. For its age however, it's in good shape. Some of the upholstery is worn and a few have ripped seams. Also, a tear on the rear cover. We recently had an inspection done and found out the starter is beginning to fail. We were also told the trailer brakes are starting to fail and may need service, as well as the bunks on the trailer need to be replaced. I just pulled the boat home today, and the brakes feel the same as they ever did. We purchased a new boat while this one was away getting an engine installed, so I'm not putting any more time and effort into this one. As it sits, this boat runs and rides great. It will need a starter at some point which can be had for under $100 aftermarket, or $400 for an original Volvo starter. This boat was listed with a local broker. They valued and listed it at $12,900. I have the reserve set at $7500. I am taking a loss on this boat considering the purchase price plus the cost of the replacement engine and other miscellaneous parts. We are moving shortly and cannot take both boats with us. The reserve price leaves plenty of money for the minor repairs needed. Selling as-is. Clear title for the boat and the trailer. Can be picked up in Lake Villa, IL 60046
