Incredibly nice original paint & original vinyl interior with the exception of the captains seats which have been recovered in factory Checkmate vinyl. Original blue carpet is in awesome shape. Original 1979 Throbred Trailer has very minor surface rust in a couple of places as is visible in the photos. Mechanically excellent mercruiser engine and outdrive.

ultra rare & immaculate '79 Checkmate Trimate IV. Sparkle Blue

& Silver Metalflake Original Paint, Original Carpet & Gray Vinyl

Interior. She's a time machine ready to take you back to the shameless

disco era while you crank up the Donna Summer & hit the water at

50mph. She's powered by a Mercruiser 470 aluminum block 4cyl with Ford

460 head and cranks out 170HP and 225 Ft lbs of torque. With the

stainless stiletto prop she ran 50MPH with 2 aboard and a full tank of

gas. She's equipped with the upgraded 4in heat exchanger and runs cool

even on the hottest days in the warmest water. I bought from the 2nd owner up in Ohio & she's spent her whole

life in the garage when not on the Ohio River. She's mechanically

perfect- Just completed service, lower unit oil, impeller, engine oil

change, electronic ignition upgrade, & high voltage coil, new

driveshaft & U-joint, gimble bearing, bellows, fuel lines, water

separator, and trim pump seal kit. She's been in salt water exactly

twice & had a full flush and washdown with Salt-Away immediately

afterward. The original Thorobred trailer is in super shape and completely road worthy! She's got new bearings & lights and is ready to go--I trailered her all the way from Ohio to Florida behind my Land Cruiser & barely noticed that she was back there.
