Description:

Selling my 1990, 26' offshore Celebrity boat, Andretti Edition, very

fast 60 MPH, one of the very few deep-V 26' boats with twin engines (2 x

5.7L Mercruisers) boat was re-powered in 2010 with 2 crate engines and

dyno-ed at 344 HP each (have the dyno sheets), almost 700 HP of pure

power!. Also, two SEI outdrives were installed, with the new engines.

Only 150 hours on the new drivetrain. Outdrive showers. Custom-painted

outdrives to match boat color.

2010 Load-Rite aluminum twin axle trailer, with disc brakes and new bearings (a $5,000 value)

Completely new interior (cuddy cabin and open areas), done a few weeks

ago, new floors, new seats, new cabin upholstery, new fresh water tank

with pump, and transom switch.

Two batteries, battery charger, shore power connection, working refrigerator inside the cabin, sound system, very shiny paint.

It is very rare to find a 26' with twin V8 engines, because twin engine boats usually start at 27' and larger

Two bilge pumps, brand new outdrive trim pumps (installed a few weeks ago), brand new gas-filled self-leveling trim tabs.

Brand new bimini top (installed this week)

Brand new cockpit cover (installed two months ago)

Brand new VHS radio

New outdrive water pumps

Boat is ready for the water

In general this boat has been very well taken care of. I have all invoices for everything done to this boat

I was employed at Celebrity Boats in Benton Illinois and was lucky enough to help build most of the Andretti boats before they phased out in 1994. Looks great. How has the gelcoat held up? Still shine good? No oxidation?

So... I'm sorry to bother you because I'm not interested in the boat, however I own one myself. Since not much is know or at least released to the public. I was wondering if you had any information about the boat itself? Also do you know what type of heater was used, I've bought 3 and none of them fit? Also when we purchased the boat it was full of rot, was just wondering if that is common with that type of boat, because from what I could see it didn't look like they used marine plywood?
