1996 Carver 500 Cockpit Motor Yacht.Lifetime opportunity project that is very easy to fix and to get million dollar yacht for half of its value now. This is not a hurricane damaged or submerged boat.Boat hit a submerged object by port side prop while was underway. Propeller has no damage. Transmission case broke up and shaft slided and stuck to rudder. Likely transmissions gear with a coupling plugged the hole and boat did not sink.Read all description.Boat is in very good shape for 1996. All original gelcoat could be buffed to like new. Bottom is all solid with no blisters. Inside is clean with very few imperfections.Do not expect a brand new boat. Boat is in great shape for 27 years old boat. But with little elbow grease could be like new again.Boat needs only new ZF301 A transmission and fiberglass work. For experienced person it is 1 day of work. Shaft looks straight but could use a machine shop. Rudder is fixable and strut is okay.Both engines run and generator also. You can patch the hole and go to different marina on one engine as welll. Boat is located in Carolina Beach.
