2001 Boston Whaler Ventura 180 with a 2011 Mercury Optimax 150 XL Outboard motor and tandem axle trailer. It has Sea Star Hydraulic steering. The motor was just serviced and was gone through top to bottom. It performs like a new motor! This is an ex-rental boat used on Lake Powell. It has been well maintained. Although it has a few scuffs and dings, it is a rock solid Whaler. The seat cushions are OK, but could use replacing in a few years. Boat comes with a Stainless Steel Bimini top, Stainless Steel ski-pylon. It has a fiberglass floor so it's easy to keep clean and wash out. Boat and motor have only been in fresh water and never in salt water. This is very solid, unsinkable boat, great for beginners and experienced boaters alike.
The Boston Whaler Ventura 180 is a versatile runabout thats perfect for both skiing and fishing. Her broad-beamed, dual console, open bow design allows for plenty of room and comfort. With a large bow area, comfortable helm and companion seating, plus aft seats, theres plenty of room for everyone. It's a runabout. It's a ski boat. It's a fishing boat. Take your pick. Or take them all. The Ventura does just about everything you can do on the water. And does it all remarkably well.
About the only thing you can't do with a Ventura is sink it. It has Whaler's exclusive unsinkable Unibond construction. Drop-forge stainless steel fittings. Decks with superfine, nonskid, micro-pyramid surfaces that provide excellent footing even when they're wet.
Higher freeboard,
combined with the Accutrack hull's reversed chines and spray rails, give
Venturas a dry, comfortable ride. The deep-V slices through chop and waves
smoothly. And running strakes get Venturas up on plane fast and improve fuel
economy

This boat is also a GREAT alternative to a deck boat. This whaler has seating for 8 and is exceptionally seaworthy. Most deck boats are not very seaworthy and are scary on a bay on a choppy day. Unsinkable whalers smaller than this one have made the trip from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini.
Good luck bidding!
