This is a hard listing to write. We have decided to sell our 16' Bayliner Element. We found time to only put it in the water three times this year, and we have decided to sell it to someone who can give her a good home. She is a great little boat with an innovative design that takes full advantage of her size. The Bayliner M-Hull design is super stable (I can stand on the side and the boat hardly tips) with secure handling. This Element was purchased new by us from Duncan's Boats in North Charleston in February, 2017, and comes with the balance of Bayliner's 10-year hull warranty. The boat features a 60HP Mercury Big Foot four-stroke outboard with power tilt that sips gas and was properly broken in and maintained. The boat was only used to cruise the creeks around Edisto as well as a couple of trips in the Savannah River. She was never kept in the water overnight, and we rinsed the boat and trailer down and flushed the motor with fresh water after EVERY use. We kept a usage log which shows that we only used the boat for 20 hours since new, and we have all the original keys and manuals. The boat also comes on a galvanized trailer with a swing-away tongue which allows it to be stored in a garage that's tight on space. The trailer features plastic side-step fenders, and we also added a set of heavy-duty side roller guide posts to aid with launching and trailering. Towing is super easy, andwith a weight ofonly 2,500-2,700pounds, she can easily be towed by most SUV's and minivans without a problem. We have well over $22,000 invested in her. She has a bimini top, full factory cover with tie downs, a depth finder, auto bilge pump, and many other niceties including accessory filler cushions that aren't shown in the photos. Shortly after purchase, we invested about $4,000 in a premium marine grade sound system that is fantastic. In lieu of the original Jensen 2 speaker setup, new equipment includes upgraded Kicker and Polk speakers, an upgraded Kicker AM/FM/Bluetooth head unit, a JL 10" subwoofer, a JL subwoofer amplifier with remote volume control, and a Rockford Fosgate amplifier. The installation using marine grade connectors and the sound calibration was done by Audio Evolution in Charleston. Because of the sound system, we also installed a second marine battery to ensure adequate power for both the sound system and the other accessories.NADA Guides shows a low retail value of $15,755 and an average retail value of $17,990, and those figures don't reflect a penny for the upgraded professionally installed sound system. Since we have already canceled our storage contract, we are listing this boat with NO RESERVE starting at only $11,500 to encourage bidding. If you want to grab it before anyone else does and still get a great deal, I am including a Buy It Now option of only $13,900.The boat is located on Edisto Island, South Carolina and can be seen here by appointment. The beautiful city of Charleston is only about 45minutes away by car if you would like to make atrip of it, and there are short-term rentals available on our beautiful island at the lowest rates of the season as well. If you choose to have it shipped at your expense, I will be happy to do whatever I can to assist your shipping company to ensure that it gets to you quickly and safely.A deposit of $500 is required via PayPal within 48hours of the auction end oruse of the Buy It Now option with the full balance due within sevendays of the same. Please don't hesitate to message me with anyquestions you may have.
