Thanks for looking at this pretty Discovery! With a generator and A/C, it is set up for daytime cruising and night time enjoyment! With low hours on the gen set (51hrs), the boat has not been greatly used. The engine hours are only 196 so that equates to less than 40 hours per season. The 3/4 hardtop enclosure keeps the elements at bay but still provides an open feel when cruising. At night (or during inclement weather) the full rear isinglass enclosure means protection from insects or the weather. Drinking your favorite cold beverage while you enjoy the comforts of home should appeal to any water loving and adventuresome person! A well equipped boat such as this allow the owner to get away from much of daily life and cruise to interesting places where relaxing folks are having a good time. Or just drift along with the engine off. Whatever draws you to the water, this boat can make that feeling happen! The boat is clean and shows very little wear. No pet or smoke odors, it will not offend the nasal passages. It has Garmin GPS so you can cruise with good knowledge of the waters around you. The helm has the essentials like a compass and a VHF radio. The cabin has a nice kitchen for a quick meal. The dinette booth easily converts in to a sleeping area. There is an aft sleeping area as well as a berth in the bow. The bathroom has a shower so you can freshen up for the evening festivities. This boat is not so big it can't be trailered (the boat does NOT come with a trailer). But it's big enough to provide a sense of strength and sea worthiness that it can handle a change in the weather (usually brief in the summer time). With a tried and true 5.0L Mercruiser V8, the boat has good power but won't consume fuel at the rate of a twin engine boat with large engines. The efficient fuel injection system provides power that's user friendly. I must admit I have a personal bias. I think the 3/4 Hardtop is a wonderful concept that allows enjoyable cruising along with the substantial feel of the fiberglass roof and walls (named overheads and bulkheads to the seasoned wayfarer!). This design makes the Discovery aptly named. A boat for adventurous folks who like comfort along the way. Price this boat new and you'll see what a bargain it is for the value received. You get most of the benefits of owning new, at the heavily discounted price of a previously owned boat. If you close your eyes and imagine the fun of classy cruising, then picture yourself riding off into the sunset in this fine boat! We only live once, this boat could make a lot of good memories for you and your family! We will do our best to make that happen for you!! Is this boat still for sale?
Richard, Is this boat still for sale? It keeps showing up in my search for this particular boat but I noticed the date next to your name states "Sun, 05/29/2016 - 2:29pm". If it is still available, For starters, what would it cost to transport it to Detroit Michigan? Thank You.
