Up for your consideration, is a vintage Zodiac inflatable boat with wooden floor. The Boat: This is like what Jacques Cousteau might have used back in the day. An extremely well made & well taken care of boat. Weighing out at 147 lbs before gear or motor. Payload is 1300 lbs. Carries 5 to 6 people. No dry rot & the hull is supple & crack free. Has been stored indoors in mild temps all its life. I am the second owner & need to sell due to health reasons. There is only one tiny pin hole in hull, which has not leaked since patched. Hull holds air at pressure all day perhaps longer. The floor of the boat is original wood and has a few nicks & dings from previous owner, however is in overall good condition a finish is good. Boat comes with original packing bags, original patch kit, original pump & hose, original pressure gauge, original oars & instructions. Also included is a batterie powered air pump which speeds up initial setup & an extra vintage foot pump, fire extinguisher, life vests, flare gun, anchor & rope, depth finder & some nav lights I rigged up just in case you get stuck after dark. This boat would be at home in fresh or salt water or in rivers. A very very stable & nimble boat. This boat has a max HP rating of 40HP The bottom of hull, NOT THE AIR CHAMBERS has the usual scrapes & scuffs. A couple of patches, though nothing that went trough. The patches were just precautionary. This boat also has self bailers that work great under power. However if just using the trolling motor for fishing all day, I would recommend putting the transom plugs in as the bailers weep just a bit when not under power, if any flotsam or jetsam happened to get caught in the diaphragms. The motor: is an old 1978 Johnson Two Stroke which starts on first pull, and also has electric start providing you bring a batterie. Of all the outboards I've used over the years, these are by far the most reliable. The fuel tank for this motor is rust free & is equipped with a very good quality fuel line. The motor also comes with two spare props, a prop nut and a few shear pins. The shear pin design makes the motor well suited for river running or anywhere else a rock might be found, as it saves the prop. The electric motor works well & has 55lb of thrust. Iv'e trolled the better part of the day on a single batterie. This also come with an extra prop nut & shear pins. Please check all photos carefully, as this is part of description. This boat & all its accessories will not be shipped. It would represent a shipping nightmare. It is for pickup only. If however you live in the south west, ie the four corners states or southern cal, I would not be opposed to meeting 1/2 way for delivery, CONTACT ME FIRST on this BEFORE bidding if you are requesting this option. I have tried to be as accurate as can be in description. This boat is a turn key sled & needs no work that I'm aware of. Thanks for looking & happy bidding. U.S. buyers and Pay Pal only please:)
