2007 Yamaha SX230 High Output Boat
After 9 years of owning this family boat, I am listing for sale.We are planning to take off a few years due to home improvements and new in-ground swimming pool...
We primarily used the boat in freshwater lake (Beltzville) and the Delaware river. We do take it to Sea Isle City for our vacation. We always fresh flush motors and wash out everything.Boat is stored in an indoor storage garage all winter every year and covered in summer during the season.
Boat is in good shape and very well maintained mechanically.Oil / filter changed each season, brand new Yamaha carpet last year ($500), new zincs, new batteries (dual battery setup with dual battery switch).Yamaha Brand cover is brand new this year ($700) along with anti pooling poles.Recent service includes new NGK plugs in both motors, new boat buckle tie downs, trailer brake pads.
Stereo is awesome and a perfect setup.Just replaced amp (after 5 years left channel went out) with Kenwood 1600w 5 Channel class d marine amp powering 2 JL650s on the swim deck, 4 Polks DB651s inside and a 10 JL sub behind the driver seat / front end of storage compartment. This is totally proven layout and is efficient and powerful.
Condition of interior is good with some fading on the tops of the seat back rests (grey portion). There are no rips or serious problems though.Bimini is in decent shape and fiberglass hull has very few blemishes. No major divots or scrapes.I changed the graphics when I got the boat so these are a little different than original but look great.Motors run just over 10k RPMs at WOT as they are supposed too and it is very smooth. We mostly cruise at 8,500 RPMs.
Trailer was redone when I purchased boat 9 years ago with new brakes, rotors, bearings, tires and main surge brake actuator.LED tail lights and new wiring was also installed. All lights work perfect and surge brakes are working well.Galvanized axles are a bit rusted but sound. There is one cross member with rust (2nd from front) but overall, trailer is sound, brakes, bearings packed w/ buddies and lights are 100%.
I am not sure the boat hours but we would trailer it about 5 to 7 days total each year in the summer. It runs perfect, never had any issues and is ready to take family out...I tried to list everything as best I can as I dont want to waste anyones time on expectations...I will certainly miss the boat and it has been a really great experience for our family. One of the best designs in my opinion and it won a lot of awards including boat of the year in 2007.
No trades and serious buyers only with Certified Bank Check or Cash only.If it doesnt sell, we will just keep it.For potential buyers that are placing a deposit and require a sea trial, we could meet at Beltzville from the north or Delaware (Nashamany State Park) from the southTitle for Boat and Trailer are in hand for quick sale.
