We have far too many toys, and it is time to thin the herd. This is my 1998 Exciter Jet Boat, powered by twin 135HP, GP1200 engines. Amazing condition; it isn't merely surgically clean, it has never been dirty in the 21 years since I bought it new. Stored in a climate controlled garage next to an even less used (twice) Blaster 700 - and wrapped in its factory cover all that time. We had it out on the water literally half a dozen times. and never in salt water. Flushed and washed after each use. It remains quite the time capsule, and I sincerely doubt there's another one in this condition, anywhere. Friends who have seen it say things like "Stunning" and "That's never been wet..."It is certainly as much fun as you can have on the water, and is way faster than even the fastest Jetskis of that era. Full throttle turns will pull some Gs and get your full attention. Or you could quickly take friends or the family out for a picnic on the river... verrry quickly!I ordered it with the optional factory Kenwood system, complete with waterproof surround sound speakers. I did not want the fold-up canopy as it looked ugly and seemed flimsy. I thought it likely to fold or collapse at high speed or significantly reduce the boat's top end... which is impressive. 60mph is easy, even in a one-foot chop - and 70mph is quite possible under ideal conditions (on really calm water)There is not a chip or "bite" mark anywhere on the hull that I can see; it looks like a mirror. I also know for a fact that I never beached it or hit anything at any time. The engine bay is about as clean as anything you'll find in or on a boat - right down to the bilge. Engines and props are completely unmodified; even the factory grease and dry lubricant remains intact. The interior remains as new; even the floors are totally clean. There are no visible marks, stains, and only a handful of fine scratches from walking on the hold door which is midway in the floor; you can't see them unless the light is just right. The instruments are clear and bright. It hasn't yet spent 20 hours in the sun. If you told your friends it was brand new, they wouldn't find cause to challenge that assertion. It could qualify as a display in any museum. Even the dry lubricant on the rubber plenums and assembly grease on the linkages remains intact.Anyway, the photos probably tell it best; take a look.As it has been parked for some years, I would recommend fresh fuel and possibly a cleaning of the carbs - more just for peace of mind than anything else. Having said that, I just fitted a new battery and both engines fired up immediately. It has typically been brought outside, hooked up to the garden hose and fired up once every second year - and it has never yet failed to start. Its original documentation and accessories (flushing hose connectors, Nav light, manuals, toolkit etc) are intact and included. Even the carry box for the detachable stereo faceplate is still there. The stereo system still works and - believe this or not - so does the remote, despite the fact that it still has its original battery; we've never replaced it.It sells complete with the original galvanized Yamaha trailer with sturdy nosewheel/jack, chains and lock cables. The tires reflect mileage commensurate with very little use. There is a crack in one of the thick plastic fenders, you have to look for it but I believe it is on the left side. This was apparently done by the dealer's employees while shuttling the trailer around in their parking lot, and then left it for me to find and get annoyed about when I discovered it much later. Delivery can be arranged according to the buyer's wishes. We will assist in coordinating any authorized pickup. As we have recently shipped a large generator as well as a GP1200R PWC on trailer to Puerto Rico via Freighter, we can assist with or advise on shipping to the Caribbean.Common sense requires that payment must be made in full and cleared by our bank before collection is arranged. Relisted due to failure of a Buy It Now transaction whereby the buyer failed to fulfill his obligations, according to classifieds board; that buyer's membership has now been revoked. Offers are welcome but I am not at all interested in ridiculously lowball numbers. To be fair and reasonable, I have set the BIN price at exactly half of the lowest priced, single engined "budget" model in Yamaha's current boat lineup. Replacing the trailer alone would probably cost a couple thousand. Questions welcomed and more photos are available, just ask. Hopefully I didn't leave out much and it will find a new caretaker soon enough. I think the first person to come and see it will take it home with them; it is THAT new.50 Photos uploaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/euabaxkssc8dtsv/AAAJzbbQsqnSs2hLHdXsZN3za?dl=0
