2008 Yamaha AR230 Wakeboard boat open bow. I purchased this boat as a lite project. When I purchased the boat it needed a few things done to it. The body was in good condition it just has a few scratches and heavy oxidation from the sun and the vinyl was starting to split and some seams were coming apart and the turf mats were weathered. Instead of fixing the scratches and having the boat wet sanded and professionally buffed I decided to have Rehab wraps put a full custom wrap in the boat. (This can be removed and factory decals reapplied if the next owner wants). Then I removed 100% of the interior and brought it in and had it all redone to factory perfect condition. With all factory lines and material. It looks better than NEW. I than ordered all new turf mats not only for the rear deck but the entire floor deck. I also ordered a new Yamaha red bow and cockpit covers to go with it. I than brought it to the local Yamaha dealership to have engines serviced tuned and checked over. They replaced both air filters all spark plugs changed oil, lake tested adjusted throttle cable and did a full compression check. All cylinders are 115-130psi which is perfect. I had the galvanized trailer painted black, I installed new axles, lights, fenders and tries to make it new. . . I did not touch the bottom of the boat, it was in like new condition. The boat is the best looking Yamaha on the water. It is powered by twin 160hp engines, that is 320 total HP. The AR230 changed in 2007 and in 2007 and 2008 it was the boat of the YEAR. The boat and trailer have a book value of 35k. This boat is price to sell and needs nothing.
