2019 Yamaha 242 Limited SE + TrailerBasics:
2nd owner. Purchased with 22/20 hours. Now 139/113. Habit to shut down right while trolling or during water sports activities. Garage stored, kept on a lift on the lake. Always covered!! Zero issues. Oil changed after each season and that's all she needs. No damage history, no groundings/beaching, no mech/electrical issues. She's been worry-free since I got her. Only selling because I was able to land a Yamaha 275SD at a great deal. Never anticipated parting with this one so soon. TONS of love and attention have gone into creating this beast. This boat gets tons of attention. The color scheme with tint and an unbelievable sound system is always the favorite at the sandbar. This boat is perfect for lake play. It's a very shallow draft boat which allows you to anchor in locations others can't, without ever having to "beach" it. With an on-board lavatory, solar charging and a ton of battery power, it was built for long days out on the water. This has been a great family boat, pulling tubes and water skis. The kids love it and its equally a blast hauling adult friends around. I've had 10 adults on and she scoots, no problem. Paint near perfect. No dock rash, always bumpered at public docks. Interior just as nice. No rips/stains on the cushions. Upgrades:
- $20k sound system. Custom Amp racks mount amps inside the compartment behind the pilot house. All stock 6" Wet Sounds speakers (WS) upgraded to Revo's, (1)" stock sub upgraded to REVO series. WS Stealth 10 Soundbar + (2) 8" WS REVO tower speakers installed. (2) 12" Punch P3 subs in a ported box sit inside rear compartment. Everything powered by WS SYN series amps. Subs powered independently by Fosgate 1500W amp. All controlled by multi-channel preamp/equalizer adn the boat is dual zoned for tower volume and interior boat volume so you can blast it for the skier without passengers dealing with the sound (or vice versa). The system is Insanely loud and tight.
- Second OEM table mount for kids in front lounge area
- Custom built grille mount that utilizes the swim platform OEM location. Fits any standard RV style grille (Grille not included in sale)
- Removable Submerged rear seats, mounted under the swim platform that can be flipped up and used as tables. This is a standard option on the Yamaha 275SD. These were fitted using all Yamaha OEM parts and the install looks 100% OEM. Seats hold me (200 lbs) while out of the water (full weight). Rock solid.
- Zoned RGB lighting at REVO speakers, around the tower speakers, around the cup holders and (4) underwater lighting at the rear + (1) on each side of the rear hull section. This underwater setup is VERY bright. It looks amazing at night when the wake is spraying up.
- Li-Ion battery system. Play full blast for hours, OEM solar and NOCO Genuis 10 charger for plugging in at the dock, 2 USB A/C phone charge locations at captain's chairs
- Seadek everywhere. Pulled out the stock carpets (garbage) and installed the Seadek. It looks amazing and its super easy to keep clean. Only one season old. No stains or rips. No shoes on this boat!
- Solas stainless impellers (48 kts with top on and full tank + hole shot that will put you in your seat. HUGE upgrade over stock)- Lucky 13 cones (Excellent throttle response and great for towing tubes. HUGE improvement over stock)- Cobra Jet Fins. My wife wanted more confidence driving the boat at low speed so we installed these. They go a great job making the boat even more maneuverable at low speed.
- Limo tint all glass- On board flushing lavatory
