I am selling my 2016 Yamaha 242 Limited S E-Series that has 60 hours on
it. Comes with twin 180 HP Yamaha 1.8L HO engines and this boat will
move. Top speed of 50 mph in a 24 foot boat is pretty decent. This is a
dry riding boat. I have had in the Gulf on a slight chop day and didn't
get one drop of water on us. I have owned the boat since new. I flush
the motors after each ride, for minimum 5 minutes each. Salt Away is
used also. The interior is in great shape. The motors run fantastic. No issues
ever. 2 batteries are standard. This is my second 24' Yamaha boat and I have nothing but good
things to say about them. I am selling because I am looking to get into a
5th wheel toy hauler. I had the dealer do the first service and check
up on the boat. I have done the oil and filter changes since then. I
have and will pass along to the new owner the pump needed to change the
oil. I also will pass along 2 anchors (needed to properly use the boat
if anchoring), 10 life jackets, flares, 3 black dock lines (nice), and 2
fender bumpers. The boat will also come with the awesome Yamaha cover
($750) that I wouldn't own another one without. The trailer is in good
shape also. Solid galvanized twin axle trailer. Comes with table and
mounting pole. All filler cushions come with boat too. The back deck is
awesome and a real selling point of this boat along with the shallow
draft and ability to back up close to beach. We have really enjoyed this
boat! Tons of family and friends have also. The only thing the boat needs is the rear carpet piece... you may be
wondering why. Well after cleaning, the carpet is really heavy. My
cousin and I hung it up on the lift and were gonna let it drip/air dry.
Well the next AM when I went down to the dock it wasn't there. It either
slid off and fell into water which I couldn't locate it or someone took
it. I hate a thief and I want to believe a big gust of wind came and
blew it off once it was dry.... Either way I have the center ski locker
and front carpet pieces but not the big back piece. I am more upset
about this than anybody, believe me. The carpet kit (whole boat) is $430
from Yamaha parts so I will just negotiate that into the price of the
boat and you can get that or you can do what I would do and get the
SeaDek kit for the boat from Jet Boat Pilot. Thanks for looking and make sure to check out the YouTube videos I have
linked for the boat. The second link is the actual boat on Lake Keowee
in SC. I have plenty more pics if you want also. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S9a7Q58itghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR2f_WKcnsQ
