This is a no reserve auctionfor1977 Wellcraft V-20 Steplift with a 1987 Mariner 150 hp outboard being sold as-is. This boat is in need of engine work as well as cosmetic work. The trailer shown isnot includedin the sale but is available .We are listing this boat for a third partyand representing it in completelyas-iscondition withNO reserve. Please read the ad and view the pictures carefully as this boat will be sold to whoeverhas the high bid at auctions end.We have included88 large pictures below the ad description to show you as much detailas possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of conditionis based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located inOld Saybrook Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment.

This boat needs work. The engine is seized and there is evidence in the stern that the boat or battery was submerged as the battery cable end has been corroded off from electrolosis. We are not sure if the entire boat sank. The engine does not turn and we did not try anything in the boat. There is no battery and the cable steering is froze as well. This is a project boat. The transom flexes a bit when you push on the outboard but is probably solid enough to use if you wish to re-rig the boat with your outboard. This is a project boat but the decks are rock solid and it does have potential as these were excellent riding and popular boats.

The trailer is in okay shape. We towed it about 60 miles to our shop but I wouldn'tgo far with it without giving it a good inspection. The frame, axle, andsprings are inokay shape.The tires hold air well and the bearings seam fine. I would recommend replacing the tires before a long trip as some areas are dry rotted.The trailer is not included with the boat but is available for $450.00 additional.We haveno paperworkfor the trailer.
