Wellcraft Scarab 22

1995 Wellcraft Scarab 22' speed boat w/ clear title. It has a 5.7L 350 c.i. Chevy engine w/ Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2 out-drive. It's a clean, fast boat. It will do 60+ mph.

Please note: This boat does not have an engine hour meter.It was an option offered by Wellcraft when the boat was made. As you can see in the pictures, the boat does not have a lot ofwear and tearon it. It has been well maintained.

I've done a few things sinceI purchased it. I rebuilt the hydraulic trim rams. The piston shaft sweeps were frozen with dirt. I replaced the seals and flushed the hydraulic oil. I also replaced the rub rail and insert around the whole boat. I also replaced all of the seals in the trans/ lower unit just to be safe. The drive oil was flushed and replaced too. I had the boat wet sanded, buffed, and I installed new graphics2 years ago. I also installed a new starter solenoid. It acted up a few times so it had to go.I recommend an oil change before using it this season.I have only used synthetic oil in it every season. It had Royal Purple oil in it when I bought it. I also recommend replacing the spark plugs and fuel filteras they aredue.Everything is in good shape and ready to go. The interior is nice except for the seam in the back lower seat cushion which is starting to separate a little. The sundeck has a very small seam separation too. There are a few small scratches in the front seats which is typical with a boat this age. The "Scarab" stitching in all of the seats is faded or has come out due to age. Other than that, everything else is nice. All of the gauges work as they should. The boat has an Alpine head unit (owner's manual included) w/ XM receiver, 2 amps, one 12" sub-woofer in a sealed box, and 6 Boston interior speakers. It also has a Optima Blue top battery with a battery switch. The boat will come with an anchor, 3 boat fenders, 1 tow rope, 1 flare kit, 1 fire extinguisher, a seperate 3 blade stainless steel prop w/ hub kit, and 7 life vests. It has been winterized. I also had a new black cockpit cover made last fall. Unfortunately, they messed up the snap locations on a hand full of snaps so the left front corner doesn't snap on. The snaps will have to be relocated on the cover to match up with the snaps on the boat. It will come with the original cockpit cover as well. The sale will also include a free Loadmaster tandem axle trailer. Unfortunately, no title for the trailer, just a bill of sale. It comes with a good spare tire. Bearings are tight and greased. I have towed this many times without any problems. The trailer was set up with hydraulic surge brakes but the whole system was bad so I removed the master cylinder and lines with the intention of installing electric brakes. I have an electric brake kit that needs to be installed. The kit includes: 2 Drums, 2 electric backing plates w/ shoes, external battery, break-away switch w/ cable, and all necessary wiring. There are no working brakes on the trailer currently. I installed new LED tail lights on the trailer. I installed 4 new ST215/75-14 Carlisle Sport Trail load "C" trailer tires 2 years ago. I installed a new Fulton coupler and spare tire carrier.
